Architecture
The history of the House of Arts began in 1937, when it was called The Khmelnytskyi Palace of Pioneers. For more than 80 years of existence, the palace moved three times to new buildings, but in 1989 moved to a new building on the Svobody street, house 2/1. Today, the Palace of Arts of Children and Youth engages 2,000 children aged 5 to 18, who are involved in clubs in various fields, participate in national and world competitions, festivals, etc. On the territory of this futuristic building there is a Military History Panorama Museum. It was established in 1989 and opened in honor of the 45th anniversary of the end of World War II. The museum has two floors. On the ground floor there are stands, the materials of which tell visitors about the beginning of the World War II, the cruelty of the Nazis invaders in our region, the struggle of the Proskuriv underground and guerrilla units against the Nazis.
