Post and Telegraph Office
64 Heroyiv Maidanu St.
The post and telegraph office house is one of the most beautiful symbols of the old city. The building appeared at the beginning of the 20th century and served as the Proskuriv post and telegraph office until the early 1920s. In Soviet times, the building was under the authority of state institutions.
In general, the structure resembles a small palace with a bright geometric decor. The three-dimensional composition of the building is dominated by the risalit of the main entrance, which is crowned with a high pediment and a hemispherical dome with a spire. Above the entrance there is a wrought-iron semicircular balcony.
The building has a protection status of Local architectural monument. Now the military commissariat is located here.
