Architecture
The architecturally elegant church was built in 1904 as a regimental church of the Belgorod Regiment, dedicated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. St. Andrew's Cathedral was expensive, more than 44 thousand rubles were spent on its construction. Inside the temple was a pine iconostasis in one and a half tiers with gilding and a rich painting. In Soviet times, the church, like most religious institutions, was closed and later used as a gym. Worship services resumed here only in 1991.
